The time after school gives children plenty of opportunity to make their own choices. In our after-school club, children have as much say as possible in how they spend their leisure time. They decide whether they want to play, be active, take time out, join a daily activity or take part in a working group.

Our team of eight educators looks forward to supporting the children on their path towards becoming strong, healthy, responsible and self-confident young people. We warmly welcome up to 216 children from Dessau-Roßlau between the ages of 6 and 14.

Thanks to its spacious design, our two-storey after-school club is used by children of different age groups and follows a semi-open concept. The building is barrier-free and has a lift, making it suitable for children with motor developmental delays or physical disabilities.

The light-filled building offers up to nine large, bright group rooms. A club bistro and a sports room on the ground floor, together with a spacious outdoor area with mature trees, shrubs and play equipment, complete the facility and support its guiding pedagogical idea: to offer children a counterbalance to a world with too little movement.

We encourage children to be active and give them space to move around the building, try out new activities, let off steam and make discoveries. In cooperation with the library, outreach youth work, school social work, the Ölmühle and the youth club “Platte 15,” we offer many exciting projects throughout the year in which children can participate and grow.
