As the smallest Day-Care Center, we offer space for personal development in a familiar and family-like atmosphere!

Our “Kleutscher Spatzennest” is located in a quiet, rural environment on the outskirts of Dessau-Roßlau. In a family-like and trusting atmosphere, we care for a maximum of 23 children from the age of 2 to school entry. Here children find a place where they can grow and develop at their own pace.

We work according to the pedagogical principle “Help me to do it myself,” which means that we promote the independence of each child and allow them to actively participate in everyday activities. Individual support for each child is a priority. Participation and co-determination are a matter of course with us and enable children to take responsibility and make their own decisions.

Our offering includes regular visits to PSV Sport, where children can further develop their motor skills. We also participate in the “Waldfuchs” programme, which gives us the opportunity to discover the nature near the kindergarten.

Cultural activities offered by the city are also regularly incorporated into our daily life and broaden the horizons of the children. Our spacious outdoor area with a playground offering many climbing and play opportunities encourages children to move and discovery. Trees and shrubs provide natural shade and create a pleasant, sheltered environment for outdoor play.

In addition to all this, we offer an atmosphere in which every child feels safe and secure and has the opportunity to develop social skills and self-confidence. School starters in particular receive targeted additional support from us to prepare them optimally for the transition to school.
