Our After-School Care Center offers children from school entry through to the transition to Year 7, a varied and creative place to organise their leisure time according to their own interests and develop their talents further. With 240 children and a dedicated team of 10 educators, we create a trusting atmosphere in which every child can feel at home.

Situated in the natural environment between the Georgengarten and Kühnauer Park, we offer children many opportunities for development. Our spacious outdoor area with a sports field, a gymnasium and diverse play equipment invites movement and play. The functionally equipped rooms, such as the acitivy workshop, the construction room, the music room and the library, promote the creative and physical development of the children. In the open concept, children can decide for themselves which leisure activities interest them — whether in the various groups such as the Singing Mice, the club council, creative design or in small research projects.

We see ourselves as a leisure facility that, alongside extensive leisure services, also provides an educational support, e.g. through support with homework. Our traditional celebrations such as the spring festival, the Halloween festival and the joint school–club Advent market are an integral part of the annual calendar and offer children additional beautiful community experiences. During school holidays, we offer exciting projects, outings and varied activities that have something for every child.
