We take the time to respond to your children’s needs and wishes and support them in their development. Our aim is to give every child the space and time they need to grow, learn, play and develop in their own way.

With capacity for up to 129 children, our after-school club is currently the smallest within DeKiTa Municipal Enterprise. Our team consists of four educators and one director.

The after-school club is located within the “Kreuzbergstraße” primary school building. In addition to five individual, theme-based club rooms and a children’s kitchen, we have two large outdoor areas where children can be active. We also have a small courtyard, which we redesign together each year — for example, with homemade raised beds where we grow fruit and vegetables.

Each year, we traditionally celebrate our summer and Christmas festivals in cooperation with the primary school. During the summer holidays, we organise special full-day outings that offer memorable experiences for everyone. In fixed home groups, children can choose their own themed rooms, games and friends. In this way, we support children in shaping their leisure time at the after-school club and create a place where they can develop safely as part of a community.
